I would like to share with you a story of my life. This is only one story but I want to thank God for each of them. For every time when His loving hand was supporting me and His Word was giving me the strength.
I am 62 now and I’ve been with God for 12 years. Six years ago I had a big problem with my health. As it happens very often doctors were powerless: I had a cancer of stage 3-4.
At doctor’s room I heard God’s Word: “Be brave, be as Gedeon”. Diagnosis was no longer important for me. I knew that if I had given up and if I hadn’t fought, God wouldn’t have got me out of the trouble. Doctors had decided to perform an operation which lasted for 7 hours. They found metastases, therefore they had no hope. But I had. The church was praying and together with God we won. If God is with us then who is against us?!
Six years has passed. And now I have lot of strength and I enjoy good health. I am grateful to God for every day of my life because he has changed the defeat for a victory. This situation has influenced my family relations, now we differently look at the world and its values. And doctors who have performed the operation are looking at me like some miracle. And I want to give all the glory to God, because he is the only One whom I can rely on and I know that I always will be in safe hands.
